3D Heart Vessel Imaging Augmentation for a Machine Learning Model

Supported a project training a machine learning model on 3D heart vessel imaging by building out the data augmentation this kind of dataset needed — there usually isn't enough labeled 3D vascular imaging to train on directly.
Findings so far
- Led the augmentation process for the 3D heart vessel imaging used to train the model.
- Built an augmentation pipeline that worked across consecutive 3D image layers, not just single slices.
- Helped build a metric and measurement pipeline for quantifying 3D vasculature.
