Most of what I actually know how to build, I learned leading robotics teams through a build season, not in a lecture hall.

What it is
A FIRST Robotics Competition team designing and building competitive robots for regional and championship events.
What I do there
Mentored underclassmen in CAD design, control systems, and iterative design. Led 12+ students and oversaw a 3-month build season, coordinating mechanical, electrical, and programming sub-teams.
VEX Team 248D

What it is
A VEX Robotics Competition team designing and programming small-scale autonomous robots.
What I do there
Guided teammates in C++ and Python for autonomous control and strategy, designed and simulated robots in OnShape before build, and worked to keep the team collaborative and open to new members.

What it is
University of Michigan student chapter connecting biomedical engineering students with research and industry.
What I do there

Project Manager

What it is
A student product-development team building medical devices from concept through prototype.
What I do there
Started on the product-development side, researching biocompatible 3D printing materials and helping prototype an adaptive mouth stick device for quadriplegic users. Now manage the team as Project Manager.
Algebra II Tutoring

What it is
Informal Algebra II tutoring — no program behind it, just people who needed help.
What I do there
Started tutoring classmates in high school and kept it up afterward with the same people, as they've needed it.
